Surprised that your ex hadnt heard of Wash U. It's pretty highly regarded in this area, for kids who may not be interested in staying on the east coast.

So glad Halo loved Oberlin! I wonder if the buzz around it has increased due to lena Dunham. My first post-school apartment was with a bunch of Oberlin grads--all different careers and backgrounds. Like my alma mater but a bit more quirky and renegade.
