OH MY GOODNESS! We owe the OP a huge apology. Or thanks. Or something? Check this out folks... that gecko is really a master at networking, apparently!

Seriously, IMO the OP is just a little nervous or anxious or whatever about recruitment, and hasn't used her own researching skills to get information (a pet peeve of mine). It only took ONE click to get an answer. Yes, I am annoyed.

Aside: is there Lent in the summer? My annoyed meter is off the charts. It could be the heat (we're in high pressure and it'll be anywhere from 112-120 in the coming days).

When I was insurance shopping, I called, told them about my greek affiliation, and they asked which sorority. With that, I assume that there are other GLOs involved, too.
Yep. I already have GEICO and when my fraternity partnered with the company, I just called and told them I was a member. They applied the discount the next billing period.

honey, those are too freaking adorable. Are you saying those are the benefits of being an ADPi? What about the Violet Volcano?

Every time I try to eat a cookie with royal icing, I damn near break a tooth. To me, cookies like those in the pic are for decoration only.

However, I think that is marketed to CURRENT members of GLOs to get them to hook up with the company, not the other way around. I doubt very much that Geico says "hey 18 year old with our insurance! Pledge a sorority and you'll get discounts!"
