Anyone still watching this show?

I'm so on the fence about it. It's getting harder and harder to watch Abby constantly demean and bully these girls. The episode 2 weeks ago was brutal. Abby was so horrible to Chloe. Why on earth does she hate this little girl so much? Her continuous favoritism towards Maddie is beyond obnoxious. Maddie was wretched in that episode. She screwed up and became a brat.

Oh no! What did I miss? How was Abby horrible to Chloe? I must have missed that episode! It is beyond obnoxious about her favoritism. I have to admit that this season, so far, is kind of lame. I mean, following the Candy Apples has made the storyline kind of stale for me. Sure, I'll watch it but, I really want to see the drama (yes, I just admitted to that) of the moms at Abby Lee Miller's dance studio. What do you all think?

2 episodes ago, Abby gave solos to both Maddie and Chloe. What she didn't tell the moms or the girls (in the beginning) was that she gave them the exact same solo. She wanted to prove once and for all to Christy that Maddie was a better dancer than Chloe. What I noticed is that the solo was geared towards Maddie's strengths as a dancer. When she left the stage, Maddie was extremely upset and even pushed MacKenzie and refused to hug her when she was trying to console her. Chloe won the competition and Maddie got 2nd. The judge then thanked Abby for reviewing the scores and bringing it to their attention. Chloe was gracious and even through her tears, she gave the 1st place plaque to Maddie and congratulated her while Abby gloated.

It was horrible to watch this. I have never understood why Abby hates Chloe so much. Yes the moms are annoying and petty but to take it out on their daughters is beyond insane.

Hmmmm...I think I saw bits and pieces of that episode. Thanks for sharing! That's pretty horrific. How nasty can you be? I am surprised by how Christy (Chloe's mom) and Kelly have been acting towards one another. Okay, I am also sick of Kristy (Asia's mom) because she is obnoxious! I have to ask---Did Melissa have an affair with a married man who she later married? I got the impression the way she acted throughout the one season that he was married and they were trying to keep it under wraps. Am I wrong about this? If so, she definitely does NOT have my support. Also, she tries way too hard to "fit in" with the other moms. It's almost sad and makes you think of someone in high school so desperately wanting to be popular. She is living through her kids. Thanks for the update!

At the time, she was having an affair with a married man. She was divorced but her now hubby was still married. She'd go on trips with him and keep it quiet which is why she threatened to sue the other moms because they kept talking about it on the air and since he was still in the midst of his divorce, she didn't want it made public. She has now married the guy but it too was kept quiet.

She also now homeschools Maddie & Mackenzie so that they (mainly Maddie) can focus on dance.

GROSS! First, can everyone acknowledge how much she even favors Maddie? Don't get me wrong, she is talented but, really? Also, I get it that Abby loves Maddie. That's great but, that's like a teacher saying, "Look! All of my students failed the exam or were really close to failing but, I have ONE shining star that I can be proud to say I taught." No, this is not a dig at teachers. I am trying to make a point that I would be much more impressed if EVERYONE on that team was half as good as both Maddie and Chloe than I am that she has ONE shining star. She keeps focusing on one kid and it's weird. Also, did Melissa date this guy as he was going through a divorce (meaning, he was "separated" and then started dating her) or did she actually break up a marriage? She is neurotic. I mean, some of these women--I wonder what they did in life (schooling and otherwise) to have so much money and such beautiful homes! Holly (Nia's mom) has her Ph.D. from UPenn, Jill (Kendall's mom) was a cheerleader at The University of Pittsburgh, and Christy (Chloe's mom) is an Alpha Sigma Alpha from Gannon University. Other than that--what do they do for a living? I mean, how did Melissa get so rich?

He was her boss at some point and thus their affair started. He filed for divorce AFTER he started his affair with Melissa (at least that's what the rumors are and what the other moms have said). Melissa won't discus any of this so we never have heard her side of the story.

I have no idea about the other moms but I'm guessing they all married wealthy men.
