Yep, that is exactly how we used it in Texas.

I almost said "Nuh uh!!!" but then realized a) I learned that phrase in VA and b) That's about the time I lived here. I stand corrected. Though I always heard it used as a noun (e.g., "Did you have DTR talk yet?").
