That last one must be a nightmare in SEC schools with potentially scores of legacies.

Yes it is.

Interesting how things work out....

Nobody in our family was Greek (or so we thought) and our daughter really wanted to join a sorority. A week before she headed to UF (and yes she got recommendations to most of the sororities), we "discovered" her paternal grandmother was a Delta Zeta. Grandma says "I should look for my pin"...My daughter looks at me like "really we kinda missed that boat". Understand there was a lot of family stuff going on so it just hadn't come up.
She has what I would say was a wonderful recruitment....and ends up in Delta Zeta without the legacy awareness so now her and her grandma joke about being sisters!

What a wonderful story!!

My cousin and I are ADPi's but my husband's family has DG's, ZTA's, and DDD's so it would be great if my daughter ended up in one of those I have KD, XO, DZ, APhi and Theta friends so that would be special if she ends up there. I would also be thrilled if my daughter was a Phi Mu so we'd both be Macon Magnolias (and share lions). And with SK, we could share violets!

I think that covers most of the chapters in Texas...I'm prepping myself to be happy regardless of where she ends up
