I read The Exorcist in one day sitting on the pier at my parents' lake house! Got a great tan and was riveted to my beach towel. Didn't scare me but I was raised Catholic so that sort of creepy priest, etc was not foreign to me.

See, I think being raised as a Catholic made it even scarier for me than it would have been otherwise because I was, if not taught that all that stuff is real, not taught that it WASN'T!

I sort of want to read the Exorcist, but I'm honestly afraid I will be afraid to be by myself afterward!
