Yes, every school is different and every situation is different, but since you've stated your specific school and situation, there are those who can give you a 'rough estimate' of
your chances at
your school with
your situation.
The likelihood of a PNM with stellar grades, activities, recs, good conversation skills, and pleasant looks will have a better chance at at successful recruitment than a PNM who may be lacking in one or all of these.
Think of it like a sliding scale. For those with more 'pluses' will have a better chance at getting a bid than those who are more towards the negative end.
