I'm pulling for the rockers - I couldn't not pull for them after seeing the way they handled having their money stolen. They're a class act.
Up until last night's episode, Trey and Lexi were my second favorite. They seemed like genuinely nice people. I wish they hadn't split the money the twins stole, though. Oh, and speaking of the twins - those girls need to go. Their personalities are just as abrasive as their voices, if not more so.

The twins made the comment that they wanted their children to see how they are strong competitors, yet their children are able to see they they are thieves. Amazing. Really wanted them to go last night.

Wait - is one (or both) of them actually a mom, or are they talking about future kids? Neither of them seems mature enough to be an effective parent*.
I'm with you, Daffy. I wanted to seem them go home last night, too.
*ETA: Based on what I've seen of them. I recognize that people aren't necessarily themselves when participating in shows like this.

Love the rockers and love how they handled that setback! I liked the Monster Truckers too but didn't figure they had a chance at winning. I just think they seem like really cool, down to earth people.
I also love how the rockers didn't let on that their money was stolen to anybody. The twins don't know for sure whose money it was from their comments. I tend to believe in karma, so I think they'll get theirs. I was surprised Phil didn't say anything. Is it possible he didn't know until afterward? Wouldn't he have been briefed? Or could nobody do that because they were with the players the whole time? I wonder how all that works.

After watching last night's episode and seeing how Phil explained to the rockers that they needed to produce their passports before he could check them in, I suspect he gets briefed regularly. I guess he just chose not to comment on the Twins' thievery for whatever reason.
Not happy about the whole To Be Continued thing. I'm too impatient for that kind of business.
I hope the rockers can find their stuff, but I doubt it'll happen. I don't remember seeing anyone ever make such a costly mistake on the show. Surely they knew better than to just leave all their stuff in the cab!! What in the world were they thinking?

It was the fourth time that I can think of: Toni and Dallas in Russia, Zev and Justin in Cambodia, and two showgirls on the first leg a couple of seasons ago. They lucked out in that someone found it and was able to track them down at the LA airport via Twitter.

He does get briefed constantly. That's how he knows things like whether teams used a mode of transportation they shouldn't have, failed to do part of a task, etc. And he may have commented on the money to the twins, but that might not have made the edit.
Did Trey and Lexi actually split the money with the twins? I know they knew the twins took it, but whether they split it wasn't clear to me.
I did wonder last night if Trey is Greek when he called the Cyrillic letter El or Pe (couldn't tell for sure which it was) Pi.

He was very entertaining.
I don't want to spoil for people who haven't seen it yet, but I am sad for the team that got eliminated tonight

I was a little late to the Amazing Race game (I missed the first few seasons altogether, and then once I started watching, I missed episodes pretty frequently.) Thanks for filling me in.

I think the producers left it a little vague on purpose. The twins said that they would split the money (thereby, according to their logic, splitting the guilt for stealing it). And at one point, Lexi said to Trey, 'They're going to split the money with us.' But, I don't recall seeing Trey & Lexi receiving/accepting any money. I'm also curious as to how that played out.

I was sad too, but they made not one but TWO boneheaded moves pretty late in the game. It was justified.
I'm all in for TEAM LONGHORNS!!!

I don't know all the details, but Lexi told me that "things are not always as they seem". They reported the money they found to the producers and were told to keep it. There is a lot of editing on any show like this. I believe Lexi and I fully support her and Trey. Go Team Texas!!

I am always really sad when people lose a leg because of something like a mechanical failure.

I could have sworn I responded to this last night, but ditto.
And I loathe racers whining about being U-turned or acting like it's somehow unfair that they got U-turned. Yes, Ryan, I'm talking about you and your "The Chippendales cost us $2M" sob story.
This. Is. A. Competition.
The U-turn is part of the game, and the Chippendales played the game well, as did Trey and Lexie. It's nothing personal. (Well, sometimes it is, but not in this case.) Put on your big boy britches and stop whining.
At this point, I'm pulling for the Chippendales to win. (Now there's a sentence that when the season started I wouldn't have guessed I'd be typing.) If not them, then Trey and Lexie.
