I'm throwing a surprise party for my parents' 25th anniversary in August. I'm inviting all of their friends and the family. It's going to be really simple but I know that they'll love it.
If you have a tight budget, the trick is to find a place for the party that's free, like a friend or family member's house, or even a local restaurant. I have simple decorations, just some wedding pictures and banners. I'm also buying a cake, but it's not expensive at all. My party is at a local country club, so the guests can order any food or drinks they want at their own cost.
