You didn't just say what houses you want to be in; you said that you didn't like the three houses you had left last go around, and you named those houses:

You asked for input about your chances, and the input you've gotten is wise: you've put enough information out there that you may have hurt your chances. That's not beating up on you, that's giving you an honest assessment.
You've talked about the chapters that you "see yourself in," but the reality is that the members of those chapters didn't see you in those chapters last year. You need to be honest with yourself about whether anything would be different this go around in that regard. And you need to recognize that the chapter members, including the members of the chapters you didn't like last year, may have a better sense of how well you'd fit with them than you have from the outside looking in.
Take this as a learning experience and move on the best you can. And I'd suggest you remove your location from your profile.
