The existence of a famous alumna shouldn't even be part of the decision process of which chapter you feel most at home with. Sure it's pretty good icing on the cake, but I hope PNMs aren't basing their decisions on which GLO has had more movie stars for example!
Although I can understand the logic behind the thinking like: "look at these networking opportunities", but that shouldn't be a major deciding factor either.

Panhellenic Fall Formal Recruitment is almost upon us at some of the largest, Southern-style rushes in the country. Many registrations have closed but some are still open. However with late registration fees and since a PNM needs recs at many of these schools it may seem pointless to register so late. But as we all know the only way of guaranteeing of not getting a bid, is not participating in Recruitment.
