I posted that 10 years ago and we have had so many adoptions fall through at the last minute that we can't even count them. Foster family gets the kids back even though they signed off on them, birthmother gets the kids back even though the first judge said no, kids are put into permanent foster care, you name it. The age range what we would accept has risen greatly now and it finally looks like something may happen for us this year.
Sometimes older children do want their name changed to start a whole new life. I know what one of my suggestions would be.
