our Rho Gammas disaffilate for the entire fall semester. they are disaffiliated for the ice cream social event, but since it is an all-panhellenic event they are there to help out. we would like for them to help introduce PNMs to active women NOT in their chapter... i've found that the rho gammas bond so much and form their own sort of "chapter" amongst themselves that they have no issues with disaffiliation and introducing women to all chapter members, not just their own.. they really focus on the PNMs' well-being (this is from my experience as a rho gamma two years ago and my experience on the panhellenic exec board last year.. so i am hoping my group of RGs this year will be the same!)
we could ask actives to serve, but typically the chapters want their women out there meeting the PNMs rather than serving food. thanks for the suggestion though! i like the cookie bar idea - i will sugges it!
