So sorry to seem "presumptuous" about knowing that I can get into Alabama I've just been told not to worry about being rejected because quote from my guidence counselor "it's a done deal you will get in, start worring about your social life there". I absolutly do not think I am entitled to or even should recieve a bid on bid day. I am excited about joining after listening to my mother talk about her experiances and I want to prepare early so that I can give myself the best possible chance during rush week. So sorry if I offended anyone, didn't mean to.

Oh.. Well.. Since your high school guidance counselor said it's a sure thing, it MUST be so.



Nothing in life is guaranteed. Seems that he/she should know that. Assuming they actually said this to you, they're setting you (and possibly other students) up for failure.
