The flag is always in the background -- for instance there's always a Texas flag in the church fellowship hall. The finale is Sunday, I'm not sure if it was picked up for another season, but hopefully it will be correct in the future.

In this week's Entertainment Weekly, this show was on a list of shows that are in trouble as far as hopes for renewal. But unless ABC has something else up their sleeve as a “replacement” for Desperate Housewives, they really should give GCB another season to find its footing. I was also disappointed that PanAm never really took off (pardon the pun)- I loved that show.
