Dude. You realize that the more classes you take, the less each one matters? Or am I talking to a wall? I mean, I can have a 4.0 semester, but if I have a really crummy first couple of years, it's not going to matter much.

THIS is why I roll my eyes at some people who are just outside of college and are complaining that they can't find work. When I ask what they did in college, they say that they skated by with a 2.5gpa and they majored in something completely irrelevant. No shit, you won't find a job. There are plenty of qualified and hardworking people that have problems finding jobs, and if you think that not getting into the house you want is your big conundrum coming up, you are seriously misled.

When I ask what they did in college, they say that they skated by with a 2.5gpa and they majored in something completely irrelevant at non-challenging schools. No shit, you won't find a job. There are plenty of qualified and hardworking people (who went to some of the best schools in the nation) that have problems finding jobs, and if you think that not getting into the house you want is your big conundrum coming up, you are seriously misled.
AnotherKD, I couldn't have said it any better myself! I added my own piece to what you said. Thank you for really putting it out there. More students need to think about this. I also wanted to tell SWTXBelle that she made me when she posted her comment. Yep, GC is the site that keeps giving back....lol
