I do honestly realize that as well and acknowledge that it could just be that the girls didn't think I was a good fit with them. There's just a lot going through my head and I just am unsure if it's worth trying again or not. The reason I declined the two bids is because I don't feel as though I fit in well with them (not that they're not nice girls or anything, but I really don't feel comfortable with them). If the one I thought was a good fit for me disagrees and that's the premise of why I didn't get a bid, is it even worth trying to rush again in fall?
33girl, you make a very good point and you're right to say I should be skeptical about what she said. I have been putting thought into it and just am unsure as to what to believe. She seems honest enough, but you're right in saying she might just be trying to sugar-coat things. My boyfriend probably never should have told me that conversation happened...I'd probably feel much less confused about all of this otherwise.
