I almost didn't post because, in her post immediately before this one, christiangirl did what I'm about to describe. lol Nothing but love for you, cj.

I cringe when I see the words "above" and "below" used as nouns or in an awkward structure.

Noun: See the above for more information.
Awkward: See the above message for more information.
Preferred: See the message above for more information.

The noun/awkward conformations are only marginally correct, imo. On an ironic note, I'm guilty of these unfortunate uses of above/below myself.
