Which school are you going to go through recruitment at? Maybe someone at that school will be able to tell you how the sororities there work. Every school is different.
For example, at UF recommendations are nice but not necessary. I went in without a rec and things were fine, but maybe at the school you'll be rushing at, they would prefer a recommendation...
And don't worry. Rush will be okay. Please keep us updated! Most of us are as excited about recruitment as the potential new members are!
