Long time no see, GCers... There were a lot of reasons and those involved know what and why. All during a time when I found out my dad was dying (he did), I miscarried (2nd child is now 3), one of my girls in the chapter was killed (don't drink and drive), and suddenly I was the "problem" with GC. It was just not a good time in my life... But thanks for missing me, MC!
My cousin Hickey is doin real good. He is still doing undercover work in prison. We can't visit on account of his being solitarily confinery or something like that (I think that's undercover agent talk for teaching people how to play solitaire on the computer). He must be good at it, they've had him up there for 4 years. His last letter said that he'd be undercover for 15-20 ... I think they may keep him undercover longer though because he asked me in that letter to let some friends know so they could come help him. He told me to bake him a big cake and his friends would get it to him. I don't cook so I got him a layer cake from Wal-Mart. We haven't really heard much from him but his friends must be undercover too because they ended up staying in the prison with him. He must be real good at the undercover work.
I never got HT. It just wasn't the journey for me I guess. I should go to law school. I learned a lot about harassment suits and stalking... All kinds of good stuff that the security people taught me. Crazy Larry and I dated a couple of months. Turns out he didn't know we were dating. That took some explaining to his wife and the police, but you know, I learned that love takes time, so I'm giving Larry some time for us to be apart. After that court order expires in another few years, I'll give him another chance. It's hard to express love to someone you aren't allowed within 500 yards of. But I know he misses me and I still have my dreams of HT one day.
