shirley, you asked whether or not the girl deserved whatever happened. I'm not saying she deserved it. I'm saying that instead of getting mad at whoever you think on GC went out of their way to ruin it for this girl--you should be pointing the finger at heli-mom who wants to divulge EVERY detail of her daughter's recruitment to the point that people could pick her out of a crowd or throughout recruitment/ rush. If anything, I blame the mother.

Also, if you are going to make blanket statements that "WE" scared her and others away or that "WE" were the ones to do this to her, have the decency to call people out and not make it seem like it is everyone of "US" who did it. I didn't do a thing. I'd appreciate it if you'd stop pointing fingers at us (which incorporates me until you decide to call out whoever it was).

Once again...it's called RESPONSIBILITY...People (Wary) needs to take RESPONSIBILITY that her actions may have caused an adverse effect for her daughter. It sucks but, it's reality.

And we've established several times that WE don't know who the person(s) is that did it to her, so how could I have better called them out? Please tell me, because I honestly don't know. There's a decent chance that the person who did it is a regular GC poster, so by starting a new thread I hoped to grab their attention.

In one sentence you are telling me that I shouldn't take everything on the internet personally but, you complain and whine that new people feel uncomfortable writing on here and they get scared away. It is important to note that shirley1929 has been a member of GC since July 2009, and Wary joined in February 2011. I'm not saying it's out of the realm of possibilities to create a sock before your "real" name, but it's a bit unusual.
