I have had limited access to my computer these last few days, but I had been following this thread closely...hoping that somehow your beloved soror would return to you and her family safely. I am deeply sorrowful to learn of this terrible event.
My deepest sympathies and prayers are with her family and the ladies of Delta Sigma Theta.
This is a prayer that all Orthodox Christians repeat when we have lost a loved one, and I would like to share it with you:
Give rest, O Lord,
to the soul of your servant, Christine
in a place of light,
in a place of repose,
in a place of refreshment,
where there is no pain, sorrow, and suffering.
May your memory be eternal, dear sister,
for you are worthy of blessedness and everlasting memory.
