I was the same when I was younger, except I favoured green and red (apart or together [I love Christmas
], yellow doesn't work on the exceptionally pale. Our chapter regards buff to be a pale yellow, except when ordering clothes. Then we take what we can get, which is usually yellow (because gold can look awkward).
There are some girls that don't like our colours, but green and red are my favourite colours, and the buff balances them out. I figure that being that we have three colours, every Alpha Gam must be able to find at least one of them that they look good in. I love having the squirrel as a mascot because then I'm reminded of the Fraternity pretty much all of the time
