I read years ago where playboy was either suing or called for a cease and desist on the use of the playboy bunny in reference to Kappa. Kappa started telling members to stop getting things with the logo and burn the things they already have. LOL. The good thing is that was never an official animal or symbol.

With that said, I love everything about Delta's colors and official and unofficial symbols. What I sometimes don't like is how some (licensed and unlicensed) vendors put it together and how some Deltas of all ages choose to display it. But, I have no real complaints as long as they are not violating Protocol and Traditions. |
I remember this in the early 90's too...sooo glad it died out. And that's hilarious about the cease and desist if that's true, but yeah how you gon' just take a trademarked symbol and use it like it's officially yours?! LOL!
