I hear all of them except the 18K. I celebrated the 6th anniversary of my 29th birthday last fall. (Stopped aging at 29 you see. )

I wonder if there's any correlation with noise sensitivity in "normal" frequency ranges? I'm pretty noise sensitive.

The idea is that as you age, the hairs in your inner ear tend to fall out. Those that tend to fail first are those for the higher frequencies. The less hair you have for a frequency range, the less sensitive you are to sounds in that range.

Once you've lost so much hair that you have difficulties hearing speech, that's what's considered hearing loss.

In the first link I could hear it. In the second link I could hear everything up until 18.

I can hear up to 18, but the last one is weak unless i turn up the volume, and I'm almost 21 (yay)

Boyfriend and I had a ringtone of this and were trying to see if his mom could hear it. We (he, his 24 yr old sister and i) were all laughing because she couldn't hear it and she still thinks we were playing a joke on her. lol

Ooooowwww I just tried Dee's link and I can hear all of them with my fan on and my computer volume on the lowest setting. 17 is the hardest for me to hear, but it's still there. 18 I not only heard but felt in my teeth.
