I'm really scared that they might not have received it and I'm going to go into rush with zero recs which will be terrible especially since I'll be at a very competitive SEC school.

Problem 1 is easy to fix. Generally speaking, the people in the Panhellenic offices are happy to help check on things like this. Be sweet when you speak to them.

You have a much bigger problem in not having one rec for Auburn. Am I reading this correctly? Get busy. Right now. Ask everyone you can think of to help you get those recs. They are a must for Auburn. I am not trying to scare you but rush will not be a pleasant experience there with no recs.

No, you're not reading it correctly haha. The alumni group covers all of my recommendations. I had to make 17 separate packets and then combine into one big one to send to the alumni in the area that were in the 17 sororities at Auburn, etc etc. I'm not worried about one, I'm worried about 16 other ones too! And believe me, I have asked everyone and only have a few that aren't coming from the alumni group so you can see why I'm REALLY nervous!

Relax a little! I know the alumnae group....it'll be taken care of. But it's OK if you want to call or e-mail to make sure.
Did you make up some extra packets? Because you're bound to run across sorority alumnae who are friends of your parents, or your teachers who are alumnae, who will offer to write you a recommendation. Smile and say thank you, and hand them a packet with all your info!
And don't forget to write a thank-you note. It's much appreciated!
