As for authors, Jane Austen. I just cannot get into her to save my life. I feel like that makes me a terrible English major for saying that but oh well. Also, Virginia Woolf.
Mrs. Dalloway made me never want to read another book again. Thankfully professor followed it up with DH Lawrence so he redeemed himself.
