It's one of those things that could turn out harmless or could turn out dangerous. You sometimes don't know until it happens. If the OP is spending so much time thinking about the potential outcome, it's a good idea to not do it. Afterall, it is just for a Lakers bet. Save the hot peppers for fraternity pledgeship.
