I would agree with this. There is more to what makes a good fit in a school than academics, though they should certainly be the first priority. For example, all of the grad schools I applied to had large football programs; it wasn't the end all be all of my decision, but it was something I was looking for in terms of fit and university culture.

In the grand scheme of things I still believe that academics should be considered the highest ranking factor in a college decision.

We got lots of posts similar to yours from definite trolls, especially lately it seems. If you're not one, fine. But it's not a random assumption, and your attitude is reinforcing the assumption.

As Vito said earlier, everything else is gravy. You can make the best of your Greek experience no matter where you end up.
