New season of Any Day Now begins on Sunday!!! Who do you think Renee is going to have an affair with? It's someone she presently hates.

Ladies,
I love Lifetime as well. I know my man gets tired of watching the same episodes of Golden Girls and Designing Women. However, as much as he complains I have caught him laughing at a joke or two. Any Day Now is also an excellent series. I think the little flashbacks add a unique twist. Lastly, I know everyone has gotten sucked into one of those 4 or 5 hour Sunday movies. Ya gotta luv em!

Question

Did you all see Any Day Now or Strong Medicine last night?

ADN...
1. I liked the first "young" ME. I understand they are getting older and all, but I like her better than this one. I'm glad the new Renee doesn't have to wear that wig.LOL

2. I think that Renee and ole boy, is Joe his name is the person she's gonna have an affair with.

3. Who is that girl who she joined as an associate? I've seen her face b4, but I can't think of where. You all know that 1989 weave has got to go!

Strong Medicine...
Is that LOVE or what? How is Halle gonna react when she finds out what happened?

Even though I didn't really watch the show last season, I guess I might stay tuned to find out what happens.

I must agree, I do not like the girl they picked to be ME. She's not cute and she's not like ME at all. I think the affair is gonna be with Moesha's dad. He's joining the show next week. We'll see though!

Please tell me you all watched Any Day Now last night! The episode was so moving to me. The whole history of the Holucost, the genocide of the Native Americans and African Americans being tied in together was powerful. It should have made everyone think about this "great" land of ours. How do we repair the past and why do white Americans believe that we should forget the past? Or should I say, have such a nonchalant attitude about what has been done to the Native American, the African American, and the Jewish people?

Has the show been canceled? I watched Sunday night where Renee married "Turk"(Moesha's dad), ME received an honorary degree to get this job at the local university, AJohnny and Kelly decided to remain in B'ham to go to school instead of the ATL.

The way the show ended with ME and Renee reminiscing about what had gone on in the 4 years (flashback), it makes it seem like the show will not return. Also, LT is running these promos for the new shows, and the older shows. I saw the people from "The Division" and the new show with Debbie Morgan (Angie from "All My Children").

Does anyone have any info? I'm going to the website to get more insight.

Yes the last I heard was that episode was the last one. Prayerfully, some other network will pick them up (If it can happen to The Hugley's it can happen to them).

Soror, I've seen Oxygen once in a while. I watch Cybill once in a while, but I trip off Christine Baranski as Maryann. What style she has. Samantha Jones is a linear descendant of Maryann Thorpe, IMO.

I also like Isaac Mizrahi's show.

Unhappy No more Any Day Now

Sadly, it is true. I read in the TV Guide a few months back that the show was to end in March (which obviously passed). The last episode was the one where Renee and Turk got married. I'm going to miss that show - I used to look forward to watching it on Sunday nights. That's why I never saw "The Practice".
