Any Lifetime Television Fans Out There?

If so, does anyone watch "Any Day Now"? I love that show! The new season began last Sunday, but the episode last night was wonderful as always. I'm glad that it has moved to 8pm, but that puts it against "Touched By An Angel" and I like that show, too.

I love Lifetime. My television channel stays on it all the time! And yes, I love Anyday Now. I think Renee's hair is gorgeous whether it is hers or not.

I love "Any Day Now". I don't think it gets the props it deserves. Last nights episode was good. I am glad Renee decided to make her complaint...

I love the children characters, especially the young ME and that heavy white boy...their antics have me rolling on the floor...

Then I have this ritual where I have to watch the Golden Girls repeat 3times a day (since I am off), but ordinarily 2 times a day...It's just like I have not ever seen an episode.

Don't feel bad, soror. I love watching "Designing Women" reruns. Hopefully, "Any Day Now" will get a bit more attention at its new time. Television doesn't get any better than that show.

Soror AKA2D'91...I also love the Golden Girls...that is MY show....I've seen every episode and I laugh everytime I see it...I love their humor....I gotta give props to all of my Golden Girls Fans http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

I am a Lifetime fan as well. I think I have seen EVERY movie shown on Lifetime. I love "Any Day Now" and "Beyond Chance". I like they way they parallel the past with the present on "Any Day Now". I also love Renee, she is a great lawyer. I love how she always stand by her principles. Besides that, she can dress and I love her hair! Do you ever think she will marry Bill?

Golden Girls is my show, too. I used to watch it back in the day with my grandmother. I love Sophia! Picture it....Sicily, 1923... http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif I also like Blanche.

Not to change the subject, but does anyone watch "Sex In The City" on HBO? That's good too. Watch it with your girlfriends!

I'm a lifetime fan also. It is funny that you bring thsi up because my mom and I were talking about lifetime. We were saying how all of the "made for lifetime movies" have a similar plot. Usually, there is a battered wife who eventually gets killed by her "perfect" husband, a woman has a serious illness (usually breast cancer), or there is an unruly child in the family who is out of control. Eventhough the plots are nothing less than predictable, the movies are still good. Gotta love that!

Can I get an Amen for Golden Girls? I lovd that show! Didn't you get hungry every time you watched it? They were some cheese cake eating women, weren't they? What about Rose and her stupid stories from St. Olaff? I loved Dorothy and her dry sense of humor.

I can't do any chores on Sundays. My mother and I sit on the sofa and watch the Golden Girls hour and all the Sunday movies. We just veg out. We haven't done it in a few months because of the weather but I can't wait till the fall comes to cozy up with our comfort foods and Lifetime.

AKA2D '91 07-31-2000 07:39 PM

I'm a Sex and the City girl, too.

But speaking of the Lifetime Movies...did anyone check out the newest movie that came on this month with the small town girl was with the married man...then the married man got his friend to get with her and she fell for him...etc etc

That was a twisted movie, but it was better than anything that comes on network TV!

Oh, I do watch Desigining Women, until they show the ones without Charlene and Suzanne, then it was not funny anymore...I love Berniece!

I was just passing through and couldn't rsist replying to this topic! Any Day now is one, if not my most favorite show that's on right now! I don't know how I came to watch it, but now I'm hooked!!!! The show is great, the issues that they tackle seem to be those that other shows tend to shy away from. I just hope that it gets the respect that it deserves!

I love the Golden Girls!!! They have such energy and sprit! I want their energy when I grow older!

OK Pink Panther --- Speak UP! My sis is a hardcore Lifetime addict. I sometimes get emotionally caught up in the movies. Wow, I remember when "Golden Girls" came on as an unsyndicated series.

Soror, it came on Saturday nights along with 227, Amen, Empty Nest, Golden Girls, then the show Sisters came on after that on NBC.

****Have any of you all watched the new show, Strong Medicine? Whoopi Goldberg is the exec. producer. I have not seen it, but what strikes me as odd is that Whoopi did not get any black actresses to play a doctor, or have I missed something...Correct me if I am wrong, anyone!
