^Thanks for the Amazon suggestion above! I found it on there, gonna order it next week.

And I have the Salon Effects on now...houndstooth. I HIGHLY recommend them. They were super easy to put on. The strips were far bigger than all of my nails because I have such small hands so I was worried at first but then found it was extremely easy to get the excess off. I put one layer of top coat on them (which you don't have to do, but I did it just in case) and have had them on for a few days and don't have one single chip. I freaking love these things!

This is good to know - I've been debating about trying these!

Let us know how long it takes before they chip. I was looking at those too, but the price kind of put me off.

I actually have to switch to something a little less...noticeable...because I have a cocktail party to go to tomorrow night but I have had exactly one tiny chip, and it was on my thumbnail and caused be a scraper (printmaking tool). Since I spend a lot of time cutting, sanding, carving, working with chemicals, etc. this amazed me. Even with a really good top coat nail polish usually goes 3 days max on my fingernails before chipping, and badly. I put these on Monday I think, so 5 days and essentially no chips. I'm betting they'd be chip free for at least a week on most people, 10 days even.

The price puts me off too and the fact that there's so many options I won't know which to choose. I wish they had multiple designs in a pack for the price they're at now. That would be a fair deal.

I'm willing to bet we'll start to see 2 for 1 deals or something because I've noticed when I go into a store a lot of people look interested but I never see anyone buy them. I took the plunge because I read online reviews that pretty much all said they lasted for a week or more, but if I hadn't I wouldn't have wanted to pay around $10 for an experiment. I'm hoping they'll come out with more solid options...they're really convenient for patterns, but I would definitely be interested in something a little more professional that I could actually keep on for a week (instead of like this week, when I have to remove the houndstooth pattern for a cocktail party). Way cheaper than getting my nails done.
