Allowed, yes -- but depending on your circumstances in your original sorority and your campus culture that may or may not happen. Also, you don't know if the national sorority will give you a bid for membership. You need to be invited to join first before being able to pledge anything.

I know, haha. But I met the girls and I like them & I'd just like to know that I haven't lost my chance. And there were no circumstances, I just learned things about some of the girls and didn't wanna be apart of them, but since its allowed, i'm ecstatic.

Right, but just because they CAN doesn't mean they WILL.
