Tonight I have work stuff to do but I will probably play it a little more through the week (although Live-in just got a couple of games that he wants to play, too), but he works on Saturday so I'm planning on scooting through as much as I can.
What I really love:
I can play with my friends without meeting up with them in person (read: I want to wear my rattiest PJs ever while playing this game). I didn't have an account while playing the first one, so I'm not 100% sure if you could do that before, but I love the "join the players" aspect of 2.
Also, the story aspect is more interesting so far.
CG I think you might actually like Little Big Planet. The "story" levels (if you can call what's in the first version an actual story) are kindof similar to Super Mario Bros, but you collect items that help you build your own worlds and you can play the worlds that other players are creating. It's got a social networking aspect that's really quite interesting.
Plus, the sackboy is cute. Well, mine is a sackgirl right now. And she's freaking a-dorable.

Ok...to you and Animate...thinking about picking this up for me and the missus...is it really really worth it?

(I'm like a Death Knight for you WoW people. Unholy spec) I can give death a new life and manipulate it as a main power. Secondary power would be being able to know one's fears.
Maybe I am evil lol

Worth is an understatement. Easily one of the most creative games I've played in a long time with all of the stuff you end up being able to do. Plus it has Sackboys.

That's so cool. I like your powers, Animate.
Hmmm, I would fight the supervillains. It's just that I would like to have complete control over gravity, because I would be able to do a lot with that kind of power. Like, I remember when I was a little girl, I remember my dad telling me that planet Krypton had 15 times the gravity of Earth or something like that. Well, I've been into astrophysics ever since I was about 7 or 8. I remember thinking that if I had control over gravity, I would have control over a lot, and that I would be able to kick Superman's butt. I remember reading something at the time about exotic matter, with exceedingly high densities, formed from the remnants of supernova explosions. That's when I really started getting into back holes and large gaseous planets with gravity much stronger than Earth. It's just that when the size of a planet reaches a certain threshold, the gravitational compression at its center is so large that the nuclei of different atoms literally fuse together, creating larger nuclei and releasing excess energy in the process. Imagine what I could do with that? I would be able to kick butt and take names. Gooo, "Gravity Girl" (me) lol

My outfit would look something like this one. Green for MSU.
DVM during the day, "Gravity Girl" at night.
When trouble would start, I would just say "Go Gravity Girl" --next a really small supernova explosion..the next thing ya know, I'm in my super outfit. lol
From your local vet, to "Gravity Girl".
I think I'm getting sleepy because I am laughing SO hard right now.

Hey guys, let's rate this thread. I just clicked on "rate thread", and I gave it five stars. If we all rate it, it will have stars next to it.

I have this one for my 360 but I haven't started using is yet, because I need a stand for it. If I can't find a good one, I'm going to design and build my own.
I bought this one for my PS3.

I just bought F1 2010 for my PS3, today. I haven't started playing it yet, but I'm about to as soon as I sign off of GC. Later folks.
check it out

Seconded. Totally worth it. Haven't even had it a week and both of us have played more than halfway through the story levels. So, that means we've played the first half twice. SO. MUCH. FUN. Plus really cute - the missus will love it.
