Of course I want the Bears to win, but I'm not sure if they can do it. But as long as the Packers lose in the end, I'm happy!

Boo. I was in Chicago for Saturday's game, and about 1/2 of the bar wanted the Packers to lose. The other half wanted the Packers to win, either because they were fans or they "personally want to teach the Packers a lesson". I'm glad da Bears won: it's much more fun this way.

My feelings about the upcoming are pretty much summed up in this image:

I will begrudingly admit that the Steelers have a good shot, especially as Consentlessberger has been playing very, very well.

Steelers vs Da Bears. Steelers win.

I kind of wish there were two more repugnant NFC teams in the running (like, say, the Cowboys and Eagles). The Bears and Packers are two teams I'll usually root for in other circumstances.

This year's offering - a rather tame version.

Steelers v. Bears, Steelers win.

A lot has been said about Ben & his antics, but no one seems to remember that the GB QB - the very one the NFL tries to keep as its media darling - has a tarnished halo, too. Besides, I wouldn't be thinking about a move to Chicagoland if there was even an inkling of tolerating the Packers.

*How do you embed a video, anyhow?

I thought Ben was a Frat-tastic douchecanoe when I lived in Pittsburgh, and while I find his actions abhorrent, it doesn't change how I feel about the Steelers.

Also, my coworkers are baffled by the fact that while I picked up the Steelers as a "team" in addition to the Bills (you guys can STFU about that right now, Jim Kelly was a GOD!) while I was living in Pittsburgh/Western PA, I did not pick up the Bears since moving to Chicago. My defense is that both boyfriends from that six year period were/are HUGE Steelers fans, even though Live-in is from here, so I have now spent almost 10 years watching every Steelers game we can (obviously, during the regular season here we can't see all of them). That and Jerome Bettis stole my heart in 2003.

My second line of defense is that I picked up the Blackhawks and not the Pens, so STFU.

Last part: Honey you're thinking of moving out here? To the city or to the area? My vote: City's way better *ducks*.

Could you remind me of the Aaron Rodgers scandal, please? I'm drawing a blank.

I'm a fan of his and I would say I consume more news than the average person, but I just must be one of those people who can't remember and/or the various news sources I rely on daily must have forgotten to report on this (probably because he's apparently a "media darling"?).

Everyone here has been wearing their Ben jerseys pretty much all year. People didn't have a problem wearing the jerseys of some other Steelers when they were accused of much worse things.

That's all I'm going to say about that subject because the way that Goodell and the media in general spun it gets me way too pissed off.

Yeah, I know, again!

PS: Bears fans, I sincerely feel for you.
