Transferring Question

it will depend on the chapter.just as a transferring member has the right to seek affiliation or not, in zta, the chapter has the right to either extend an invitation to affiliate or not.

to be eligible to affiliate, you have to be a member in good standing of your previous chapter. you will need to notify i.o. that you would like to transfer and there is some paperwork that your chapter will have to fill out. there is information on transferring in the general manual.

when you get to your new campus, you need to get in touch with the zta chapter there, and arrange a meeting.

if you are transferring for the fall semester, and that campus has fall formal recruitment, you should wait until after recruitment to meet with the chapter. they will be way too busy to give you their full attention prior to that and you may fall by the wayside.
