Nick's been with Vanessa for about 4 years now--not too long after he and Jessica split up. Outside of a few appearances, he's stayed out of the limelight and he seems pretty stable.

Jessica, on the other hand, has dated a ton of guys including that creep John Mayer. Her career has gone up and down and so has her weight. She seems pretty unstable, so my money's going on Nick for staying married longer.

I still find this hard to believe that this is THE Jessica Simpson that I saw perform at SuperWow 1995 in Jekyll Island GA. It was a youth summer church camp, and she was all talking about how God was her best friend, and True Love Waits, and all that jazz. I was 14 and I thought she was a role model.

Well, we all know that True Love lies in the backseat. That said, however, 15 years is a long time. I know what I was like when I was 15, and I'm not sure how much I'd want to be beholden to that image now.

Yep. That all makes sense. I just think that Jessica is lonely and she thinks being in a relationship/married is going to break that loneliness. I think a lot of people are that way. I just think that she's in and out of relationships because she's not happy as a single woman. If she's not happy as a single woman, then I don't see how it's possible for her to be happy in a relationship. You have to be happy single, before you can be happy with someone else. At least I think so.
