LOL. What he said about toes pertruding through the shoe is not necessarily accurate because it could just be horrible shoes. But it can also be a sign of Paris Hilton feet--long feet and long toes. Not cute. You can definitely see someone's feet through open toed and peep toes shoes, and from the top of women's feet and heels. I can see men's feet during the warmer months when they wear flip flops or man sandals. I love seeing a man who is well-kept because even when I don't paint my toe nails, I don't wear foot revealing shoes if my feet are ashy or anything of the sort.

I disagree that they're just feet. Feet shape posture and walking. A flat foot can make some basic things more difficult/awkward and even painful particularly for women as compared to men. Having a jacked up arch and jacked up toes can do something to you. For instance, women who wear stilettos everyday can end up messing up their toes and feet as well as their posture. I know women who had to get surgery to remove corns and fix their toes and the same can happen to people who wear flip flops (or other flat shoes without a cushion) all the time. That's what happened to Tyra Banks.

None of this is the same as having rough feet that can be fixed with a pedicure and some lotion. LOL.

All of this talk about locs and patchouli made me take the lazy route and wikipedia patchouli and locs. It was a very good reminder of the difference between the centuries-old "organic locs" that tend to be considered unkept even if oils and fragrances are used; and the "salon locs" that are considered more polished and are a more modern form of locs.

This may just be an example of Your Kink Is Not My Kink (and by You I mean PB) but while flat feet certainly can cause posture issues and cause other pain they're also not typically considered strikingly unattractive the way other podiatry issues may be. And he was talking about looking at feet through shoes. It's possible that it's just that my turn off is guys staring at my feet long enough to try and imagine every single callous...

But then, YKINMK

Amen. IMO men shouldn't be using any fake tan product, and women should be very careful. No one looks good with orange skin. I use the Neutrogena spray from CVS, but I will not get real spray tans...the stuff I use doesn't tan me, just keeps me from looking like I'm inside all the time (which I am), but a real spray tan would be Snookie-dom on me. I don't see as many women looking like fruit around here as I used to, which is encouraging.

I LOVE the smell of patchouli because it reminds me of earth and gardens and such, but the problem is that most people don't realize that one drop/roll from a bottle is enough to smell them from five feet away. I have a couple of mixes of it with vanilla or sandalwood, but I will not wear it alone because I can absolutely understand why it drives some people crazy. And I won't wear the mixes unless I'm going to be outdoors or something all day. It isn't as strong as actual patchouli, but I don't want to give anyone a headache in class. (Then again, most of the kids I know who love it wear it to cover the smell of pot, so they're over killing it. For the record, I use it just because I like it. )

But, in your OP, you said that from the start there's some kind of physical attraction. So, with that, if I like her, and she's someone I'm physically attracted to, and someone I could see myself as friends with first, then I would hang out with her until she eventually takes off her shoes, which always happens after a few dates. If her feet are jacked, then I just gained a friend. If she has pretty feet, then we can move to the next level.

Most of the time, I can tell, though.

Everyone has their own physical likes and dislikes, not everyone is going to be on the same page with that. This is just mine. Folks who are offended or think it's somewhat shallow, then okay, I'm sorry you read my post.
rotflmao!! Y'all, I am done, done, done, done. Lol! PrettyBoy, most men like breasts and butts. Black men especially are into that butt. Are you sure you're a black man? Feet? I'm just making sure, because I read one of your posts where you said you weren't into butts. Just checkin' Lol! I think if a man told me he was into my feet, and not my butt, I don't know how I would take that. What did your significant other say when you told her you were into her feet? I gotta hear this. Lol.

Everyone who's bitching about bad teeth - what do you consider "bad"? There are plenty of people out there who have healthy teeth but they don't happen to be perfectly straight or glow in the dark white.

My internet turnoff is bad spelling and grammar. I have so little to go on, if my first impression of you is that you never got past 1st grade in those areas, I don't care how hot you are, I won't look any further.

Real life turnoff? I really can't say. Things that work like crazy for one person don't work for another.

But seriously, I have no problem with teeth that maybe need some orthodontics. My husband has naturally perfect top teeth, but his bottoms are as crooked as a stone fence. No biggie! My opinion of bad teeth are ones that look like they haven't seen a toothbrush in years (let alone the inside of a dentists office), have major receeding gum lines OR obviously fake teeth. A full gold or silver tooth is a turnoff. Steve Buscemi teeth? No problem. Have a Modonna gap? It's cool. Have teeth that are stained from coffee? We have Crest white strips for that. But if you're teeth are rotting out for whatever reason.... bleck.

The husband of a good friend of mine has a genetic disease that predisposes him and 2 of their 3 kids to rotting teeth. No matter how often they see a dentist or bush, they still rot (she also lets them drink tons of pop and eat tons of junk though, so she's not exactly helping their condition). She admitted that even though she loves him, she couldn't kiss him. He decided enough was enough and got a full set of dentures 2 or 3 years ago at the ripe old age of 34. He looks amazing now, and you'd never guess they were false, and she's happy as a clam.

The first thing I notice about anyone is the mouth. Not just the teeth, but the whole mouth area, smiling, laughing, sneering, or drooling. If I had to see a line-up from a crime, I could do it by the teeth. Drool is completley out. There is a wonderful, funny, well-traveled, well-spoken, intelligent doctor who has a crush on me, but I can't get past the drool.

The other part is the confidence demeanor. It's hard to notice, but if they can laugh at themselves or treat a woman as more than a support system for boobs & other goodies, that's a huge plus.

honey, how many people do you meet who drool? I laugh, because aside form children or really old folks and someone sleeping, I don't know of anyone who drools! lol
