Question:

The south has a reputation of being back-woodsy and racist.

Should I move because I'm black? I AM placing myself in a bad situation. If I get jumped or killed here in Texas, am I partially to blame?

Emmitt Till should've known better. That teenager was so dumb that he got comfortable with the white folks in 1950s Mississippi and allegedly flirted with a white woman. What about Ms. Sofia telling the white woman "hellll no" and punching the white man. That's why she had a jacked up eye and went to prison.
