They are, but sometimes campuses make them do stuff like that before they recognize them. I'm pretty sure he means his chapter only and not his GLO as a whole. Theoretically, it's a technicality, but this is the kind of thing that can bite you in the ass when you least expect it. But that's the kind of thing that happens at a hippie school. LOL

Social GLOs are not required by Title IX to be coed before a school can grant recognition. Professional, service, honorary and the like are.
