Have had the same troubles and was ready to bitch out our IT dept for screwing withthe T3 line.
Suggestion, if
www.greekchat.com is slow, I (using a little known tip form everyone around Sept 11 when it went down for a week) use
www.greekchat.net. That aeems to go a bit faster. Not much, but a bit.
My guess, the server is getting full of our crap, and all the users who register their stuff and dissapear after 3 posts. Maybe after 6 months of inactivity users could be deleated, and posts older than 2 years old could be deleated to save space. The relevant topics always stay somewhat near the top. That is if it is a space issue.....
