Yeah..something's definitely going on because I just spent the past 10 minutes trying to log back on. The number of current users went from 60+ to 12 in the last 10 minutes! Please tell me it's not another repeat of last summer!! :eek:

I've posted successfully only after many, many tries.:( This can't be happening.

I've had some problems today, too. Really slow.

Sent an e-m to the last theread I had for J H and nothing, dont know what the deal is?

On the 3 rd Puter to see if it is screwes up but who knows, not me!

The system has been slow the last day or so. Not to mention jumping from page 1 to another page it is sometimes impossible. i have to log out and log back on sometimes to continue.:(

Have had the same troubles and was ready to bitch out our IT dept for screwing withthe T3 line.

Suggestion, if www.greekchat.com is slow, I (using a little known tip form everyone around Sept 11 when it went down for a week) use www.greekchat.net. That aeems to go a bit faster. Not much, but a bit.

My guess, the server is getting full of our crap, and all the users who register their stuff and dissapear after 3 posts. Maybe after 6 months of inactivity users could be deleated, and posts older than 2 years old could be deleated to save space. The relevant topics always stay somewhat near the top. That is if it is a space issue.....

Yeah things have been slow this week.

The whole net has been slow this week too, some of the sites I go on haven't even been up all week.

My $.02, I think Lifesaver has a very good idea!

I have also noticed that GC has been very slow this past week. Personally, I haven't noticed it on other websites so, for me, it hasn't been web-wide.

Man...WTH happened to my post number? I had 306, now it's 298. I hope I didn't say something inapproptiate.....
