I had a really nice time tonight, I didn't expect to cry, but there was a tear or two that was shed.

Shaving in the dorms should be an olympic sport or prison camp torture.
Damn. Right in the middle of typing this the fire alarm went off and I lost my focus. At first we thought it was a radio or TV show, nope it's a fire alarm. It's pretty quiet. We all trudge outside. There was a ton of lightning out there, I'm not sure if it was really all that safe. We went back inside after a few minutes, the building wasn't on fire or anything. I'm not sure it was even a drill, someone probably just can't cook. Odd, normally the alarms cheer for me when I cook!

Of course, I'm still paranoid of getting the call on bid day.

Tree pose in yoga is great for shower stall leg shaving.

Haaaaaaah! There really isn't room to even do that! (I'd probably fall anyway.) We have a shower, then a small section in front with a bench, I just try to prop my leg on the bench. Beats just a teeny shower space.

Today is Bid Day! Of course, I'm still fretting internally about not getting one! I have hours left! Hopefully class will take my mind off of it for a bit.

I got really stretchy from propping one leg up on the wall freshman year. Plus I have much better balance on one leg than the other, so my left leg was always covered in nicks. Dorm showers really started my current habit of just shaving the ankles and knees and running the razor quickly over everything else. I miss a lot of spots, but whatever. By the time they're close enough to realize that, I've already got 'em hooked...

That's funny, angels&angles. My poor legs look and feel butchered. I have tried Nair and other hair removal creams before but they left chemical burns complete with blisters. =(
Yesterday I had nasty razorburn alllll the way up my legs, then sweating as we ran to our parties outside, my legs feel like they're on fire today.
