I think you could do this and it would be very cute OR a complete and utter dud depending on how you go with it. I personally like the "retro" barbie stuff a lot. I have 2 SK neices who still love the barbie stuff. BTW, I have seen the Victoria Secret done and it was way cute!! Super girly and done like SYX's Secret.

This is precisely why I'm very pro "no frills" recruitment.. no frills= no stupid themes.

I think Barbie theme can come across as being image focused... that being said, if that is a big factor for membership, realistically you can go with it then (which sounds shallow itself!) but go with whatever your sorority can and wants to pull off.

IF you choose to do it though, a few ideas:
- You could have really cute shirts with the Mattel logo but your house name in the middle and under have the Made In China small text but made in (insert where your sorority was founded here)
- If you have a sorority house, you could have a banner that says "Welcome to the Dream House" or something similar?
- In a sorority slide show, before the pictures you have of socials with guys you could do something cute like "Hanging out with some Kens..."

Basically, Barbie is like sugar. Small doses are sweet, overdo it and your PNM's will get sick.
