Blondie 20 had a
simulataneous faux recruitment thread going on too! So hard for our budding creative writing student to keep everything straight, especially considering there was no way she was even greek to start with.
And then italiachicaaa shows up in post 177 after many of us noted the improbable number of similarities between
her faux recruitment story /writing style and EB's.
Yes, EB had all three stories going on at once.
The problem so many of us had with EB is that she continued to insist that ever last word of her "we were served margaritas during round one" thread was true. Including the part where 3 PNMs were hanging out in the bathroom together bashing sororities, the rude sorority girls, and then EIGHT houses that she visited third round. It just gave a really crappy picture of sorority women, greek life, and the whole recruitment process. A little creative license is fine when writing a story.... perpetuating negative stereotypes when you aren't even greek is unacceptable, especially considering PNMs and parents read these boards.
Whatever. Good riddance.
