Thank you so much for the advice, I'm going to probably pull for those letters of rec only because I want my chances to be good (well as good as they can be!). I'm curious though, and I really hope this isn't a stupid question because I'm still so new to this rushing/sorority thing, but are letters of rec only allowed to come from past sorority members or can they come from people that I've worked for/volunteered for/etc.? From what I have read previously it seemed like they were only allowed to come from past sorority members, but I want to make sure I have the information correct.

Just thought I would share with you a great recruitment story. I'm not sure if she was a freshmen or not, but she rushed at UF.

And here is a link on sororities allowing collegians to write recs for you, but they must be attending a different university. There is a list of sororities that allow it, some sororities (not listed) only allow alums.

You are awesome, thank you so much!!! I actually read that story last night trying to kill time waiting for my account to be upgraded on here. It got me even more excited for the fall. I will definitely be looking into what I can to secure letters of recommendation! Thank you again!
