oooh those are both cool. One of my roommates got almost all of our friends who lived near us hooked on Empire Earth. I really think EE is the reason my grades slipped at the end of the semester... we could all play in the same game as each other, so it was just a disaster in the academic arena.

Those are all awesome games. I need a new computer for the new games I have. I have X3, but I can't play it, because my computer is too slow. My friend told me I should get an "Alienware". That's the only time I get to play it is when I'm on his computer. I want one.

My Sims have owned Alienware computers.... :P I hear they're badass, though.
Yeah, I can't play The Sims 3 anymore until I get my new laptop in the Fall. I had it on my old one, but because I turned it in, I have no lives to directly control... just the millions of people in my empires. lol Also, I don't want to install it on my parents' computer... it'd probably crash every time I looked at it funny.

Yep. I have a hard time playing AoE, too. The bigger my army gets, the slower my computer gets, and that makes it so hard to play.

Turn your graphics settings down a bit...that might help.
CG...batman vs Spidey...you are saying Spidey would win??? How so??

I tried turning the graphics settings down, and it helped a little, but still, the bigger my army gets, the slower my computer gets.
Because Spiderman has the strength and agility of a spider which is like super-human strength. Batman is just a human being with a few gadgets, and a car. He doesn't even have anything special that a real bat has. I mean, at least give him sonar. Oh, and he's got a lisp, too. lol
Oh, and look who Batman fights against. They don't have special powers, either. Spiderman's enemies have special powers.
I dunno, Batman just reminds me of "The Red Mist" from the movie "Kick Ass". lol
Lame

You forgot: Batman is a trained martial artist...2. he has fought against MANY super powered beings (Bane, Clayface, even DarkSeid)...and won (even Superman as Drole mentioned) 3. He has billions at his disposal to make anything he would need to defeat Spider-man...mostly Spider-man never comes off as someone that would go all out to stop someone...Batman would...and to compare Red Mist to Batman???
Blasphemous!

Batman wins any fight he has time to prepare for. Batman can beat Superman if necessary (and is the only owner of Green Kryptonite in at least one DC universe)
First meeting, Batman might lose. Second meeting, Batman wins.
(It's only in the new movies where they're being more 'real' and less fanciful with Batman's enemies. Go to the comics)

The standard trope is, if Batman has time to prepare, Batman wins.
Otherwise it's about 50/50 (or based on the speed of plot).

At the end of the day, the X-Men and Venom are among the best comic book characters.
With all of the immigration and terrorism talk in America, we really need to bring back Captain America and G.I. Joe. Excellent examples of how these characters are signs of the times.
ETA: I just saw this http://paralleluniverse.msn.com/feat...ory/?gt1=28140 Oh hell no.

what???
Sweetie....where have you been? Captain America is about to be a movie and his comic is still a top selling comic and GI Joe...is still GI Joe.
You lose 10 geek cred points and skip a turn

I spend time in comic book stores and know that CA and GI Joe are still popular with older geeks like us. However, Captain America and GI Joe (outside of the decent but not excellent movie they did) aren't reaching non-geeks and younger enthusiasts like Batman et al are. I don't think CA with Tommy Lee Jones will do anything spectacular.
