I think I would try to contact the Panhellenic council and ask them what you can do. I'm assuming speed rushing is where you cut each house time in half so you can visit all of the houses instead of some of them. When I went through some of the girls in my Gamma Chi group had to miss a day. We did our recruitment in 4 days.. the first 2 nights were Philanthropy and they were divided 4 sororities one day and the rest the next day. The ones that had to miss that day were allowed to write each chapter a letter explaining why they had to miss, and some of them were invited to the next day rather than cut completely. I don't know exactly how yours works, but this is how my school did it. I think your best bet would be to contact Panhellenic.
