Perhaps in a similar fashion as everyone else does. How taxing it would be to have to visibly (we don't know what they're doing behind the scenes) support everything.

They can't support a little girl who was accidentally killed? The little girl did nothing and she most likely didn't even understand violence. She was an unwilling participant.

Police officers do understand violence and are willing participants on the side of the law. It doesn't make an officer's death excusable or not mourn worthy, but it means that no officer signs up for the job without understanding the possible repurcussions. Children do not sign up for anything nor should there be such repurcussions for childhood.
