Delt: This is how I think of it, from my experiences.
96-00: More of a nonstressful atmosphere. Parties that were fun, but no real regluations, hazing that was accepted(little activites and bigger), Less stress on safty, more on fun....laid back attitude.
00-present: more concerned with the balance of fun and safty, regarding parties and day to day activites, including new member education....some would say a move to more PC than sterotypical...I think we can remain to be a great social force while functioning within our own regulations. We are being forced to think of creative ideas to achieve the same results...less of, that's how it was and always should be attitude.
That's my version, but it will be fun to read the rest!
